Hallo,
als ich habe jetzt alle Foren hier durchgestöbert, aber nichts im Bezug auf oben genanntes Subject gefunden.

Ich bin mir nicht sicher ob man es so anwenden kann?
Ich brauche ein paar Anhaltspunkte für ein Sicheres Upgrade! Natürliche Voraussetzung ist eine Sicherung, sollte jemand auf die Idee kommen das anzumerken! :-D

Bitte erst Upgraden wenn 5.7.11 offiziell in den Ports ist, da damit ein paar wichtige Bugfixes / Verbesserungen ins Makefile mit einfliessen werden.
Ich habe zwar eine quick&dirty Version des neuen Makefile hier, diese ist aber nur als Hilfestellung für den Maintainer entstanden und definitiv nicht für die Allgemeinheit gedacht.
Wenn es soweit ist, dann reicht normalerweise (abgesehen vom Kontrollieren/Anpassen der my.cnf):

So, der FreeBSD MySQL Maintainer und ich haben nun endlich weitestgehend alle Probleme ausgeräumt, die Sicherheit verbessert, die Features festgenagelt, meine Default my.cnf integriert und den resultierenden Patch gerade approved, so dass wir hoffentlich in Kürze den Commit für 5.7.12 im FreeBSD Portstree finden werden.
