Guten Tag,
setze gerade einen Server auf, als Image: debian-6.0.8-amd64-netinst.iso
Habe 4x SATA Platten verbaut und möchte während des Debian Installers ein Raid 10 einrichten. Soweit klappt alles wie immer.
Ich lege auf allen 4 Platten 16GB für Raid Volume an und auf jeder Platte jeweils den Rest für Raid Volume. Dann Software Raid Einrichtung, Raid 10. 4 Geräte, 0 Spare. Klappt auch.
Dann zeigt er mir 2 neue Geräte (md) an. Auf der 16GB richte ich als Swap ein und den Rest als ext3 auf /
Bootflag kann ich leider nirgends setzen.
Dann installiert er alles und kurz vor dem Ende möchte er gerne wie immer Grub installieren. Das schlägt allerdings fehl.
Grub konnte nicht auf /dev/sda installiert werden.
Die Ausführung von >>grub install /dev/sda>> ist fehlgeschlagen.
Dies ist ein schwerwiegender Fehler
Ich bin da überfragt, solche Probleme hatte ich noch nie, egal wie oft ich Debian schon auf anderen Geräten installiert habe :-/

Funktioniert denn eine Standardinstallation ohne Software-RAID?
