FreeBSD 8.1 Fesptplattenspeicher fehlt

Hallo Zusammen

Ich hoffe jemand von euch kann mir behilflich sein.
Auf einem meiner PCs hab ich FreeBSD installiert. Es läuft im Raid. Also 2 x 1000GB.Nun habe ich festgestellt, das mir Festplattenspeicher fehlt.
Wenn ich mit df -H prüfe hab ich folgende Werte.

Size Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
968G 2.2G 889G 0% /

So wie ich das verstehen ist die Gesamtgrösse der Festplatte 968 GB als Frei. benutzt 2.2. GB und Frei sind jetzt noch 889 GB? Da fehlen mir ja 76.8 GB. Leider weis ich nicht ob ich was falsch eingestellt habe. Wobei mit df -H sehe ich ja die Gesamtgrösse der Festplatte.

Ich hoffe jemand von euch hat nen Tipp für mich.

Das ist normal, es "fehlt" der für root reservierte Teil (per default 8%). Wenn das eine reine Datentonne sein soll, kann man beim Anlegen des Dateisystems den Default-Wert ändern (Option -m) bzw. nachträglich mit tunefs. Dabei sollte man allerdings nicht unter 5% gehen, da sonst ein größerer Overhead beim Schreiben entsteht (der freigehaltene Platz ist für Reallocations gedacht)

• Settings of 5% and less force space optimization to always be used which will greatly increase the overhead for file writes.
• The file system's ability to avoid fragmentation will be reduced when the total free space, including the reserve, drops below 15%. As free space approaches zero, throughput can degrade by up to a factor of three over the performance obtained at a 10% threshold.
