In den Kommentaren zu dem Artikel wurde auch ein Workaround vorgeschlagen:

Der Workaround ist allerdings nur dann sinnvoll, wenn der dedizierte Exim-Benutzer auch in anderen Verzeichnissen (etwa /tmp, /var/tmp usw.) keine Dateien speichern und ausführen darf.Ein temporärer Workaround ist einfach!

Wenn alle Fehler so einfach zu umschiffen wären :)
Diese beiden Befehle eintippen und Ruhe ist mal bis der Fehler
gefunden wird:

mount --bind /var/spool/exim4 /var/spool/exim4 mount -oremount,noexec /var/spool/exim4
