Bei unserer privaten Server Sharing gemeinde waren ca. die hälfte betroffen - alle Domains beim gleichen anbieter Registriert.
Was mich nur wundert, dass eine umgehung durch entsprechende Einträge in der /etc/hosts nichts bewirkt haben?

Ich nutze InternetX (AKA Schlundtech) nur als Secondary und ein kurzer Test eben gab mir nur auf ns10 (Schlundtech .. 1&1) ein Timeout. War das nur eine Momentaufnahme oder lag das Problem eher bei ns10 und den enttäuschten 1&1 VoIP-Usern?

Es waren/sind (insbesondere) ns9.schlundtech.de und ns10.schlundtech.de betroffen.

Ganz interessant.
Man müsste sich mal hinsetzen und gucken wie Bind, glibc und Windows reagieren, wenn die Nameserver nur eingeschränkt erreichbar sind?! 8O
