ich benötige auf einem Debian-Server ein Java6. Etch enthält ja nur sun-java5, deshalb habe ich die etch-backports als source eingetragen. Leider kann ich es nicht installieren, die depencies scheinen ziemlich broken zu sein:
# apt-get -t etch-backports install sun-java6-jdk

Hat mir jemand einen Tipp? Wer ist eigentlich für die Backports zuständig, an wen reported man das? Ist das überhaupt ein Bug oder mache ich etwas falsch? Von Hand installieren wollte ich eigentlich vermeiden...

Allerdings habe ich das Problem anderweitig gelöst: Mir ist mal wieder eingefallen das 64bit ja garkeinen sinn machen und in dem fall sogar nur Ärger, deshalb habe ich den Server schnell auf 32bit umgestellt, da funzt java auch sehr gut. Von dem her ist das Problem zwar nicht gelöst aber behoben!
