Das Forum ist rasant schnell - hat das jemand optimiert?
Ist das phpBB optimiert, ist dafür ein ganzer Server da oder warum ist da so schell?

Optimiert ist unser phpBB3 bisher nicht, im Gegenteil, es gibt diesbezüglich noch einiges zu tun. Der aktuelle Speed liegt in der Kombination aus aufeinander abgestimmter Hardware, Ressourcen schonenden minimalen Software-Overhead dank Gentoo und weitgehend durchdachter Konfiguration des kompletten Systems. Es wird also nur die wirklich benötigte Hard- und Software eingesetzt und nicht wild zusammen gewürfelt. Erfordert natürlich ein wenig Erfahrung und Geduld...

was sagt denn der phpBB-Debug für eine Ladezeit bei der index.php an ?
Würd mich mal interessieren, wenns nicht zuviel Umstände macht :-)
