Moin,

ich habe versucht Plesk upzudaten, danach wollte ich den Server neu starten und nun habe ich festgestellt, dass eine Subdomain nicht funktioniert.

Der Nameserver (bind) startet nach dem Neustart nicht ...

Als Erstes mit einer aktuellen Distribution, SUSE 9.3 wird nicht mehr supportet. Desweiteren macht eine 64bit-Distribution bei <=4GB RAM keinen Sinn, im Gegenteil, es bremst das System nur unnötig aus und verbraucht fast doppelt soviel RAM wie eine 32bit-Distribution.

hi,

ein prob habe ich doch noch:

ich habe fast alle domains auf den neuen root migriert (so konnte ich die domains nach und nach umziehen lassen).

nun habe ich bei schlundtech im menü folgende fehlermeldung:

Notiz: Fehlermeldung von SMAX-Server. (SECONDARY PDNS-SMAX:unable to call named-xfer[985]: connect([87.106.19.233].53) for zone adesignforlife.de failed: Connection refused : No child processes )

liegt das daran, dass der primary zunächst auf dem alten server liegt ? was kann man tun ?

primary: ns.domain.de mit ip
(z.B. ns.adesignforlife.de mit der neuen IP 87.106.132.168)
secondary: ns10.schlundtech.de)

die alte ip: 97.106.19.233

Wenn du ns.adesignforlife.de als authorativen Nameserver für adesignforlife.de eintragen willst, brauchst du einen GLUE-Record. Wenn der Eintrag vorher schon existierte, muss der GLUE-Record geändert werden, nicht nur der A-Record von ns.adesignforlife.de.
