FTP Benutzer per ssh auf Suse & Confixx

Hallo

Auf meinem ersten Root mit Suse 10.0 und Plesk 8.1 erstelle ich FTP zugänge für NICHT Plesk eigene umgebungen über SSH mit diesen Befehlen:

useradd -c "Backup" -d /home/backup -g psacln -r -s /bin/false Backup
passwd Backup

cd /home/
mkdir backup
chown -R Backup backup
so kann ich mich per FTP mit der IP als Host Benutzer und Passwort einloggen und Up/Downloads machen.

Nun habe ich mir einen weiteren Root gemietet bei einer anderen Firma, Suse 10.0 mit Confixx.

Confixx kenne ich allerdings nur als Kunde somit kmme ich damit klar und finde es übersichtlicher als Plesk, vor allem bei mehreren Domains.

Auf dem Confixx Root erstelle ich denn FTP benutzer über SSH so:

passwd Backup

cd /home/
mkdir backup
chown -R Backup backup
Wenn ich mich aber nun einloggen möchte kommt folgender auszug in FileZilla
Status: Verbinden mit xx.xxx.xxx.xxx...
Status: Verbunden mit xx.xxx.xxx.xx. Warten auf Willkommens-Meldung...
Antwort: 220 (vsFTPd 2.0.4)
Befehl: USER Backup
Antwort: 530 Permission denied.
Fehler: Verbindung kann nicht hergestellt werden!
Tipfehler ausgeschlossen.

Leider bin ich auch nicht grade der Pro Linux User sodas ich ohne Hilfe nicht mehr weiterkomme..

Kennt einer das Problem und die Lösung?

Erlaubt dein FTP auf dem zweiten Rootserver ds einloggen von Systemusern?

Ich hab 2 Configs vom vsftp in etc
Ich muss gestehen ich weiss grad nicht wonach ich genau suchen muss... :oops:

Hier habe ich auch nichts brauchbares gefunden, da ich kein Anonymes FTP haben möchte sondern ganz Normalen zugriff in zb /home/backup mit Benutzer und Passwort..[/edit]

Juhu habs hinbekommen hab über Webmin einfach dem User die Selbe UID gegeben wie der benutzer Confixx..

steht /bin/false in /etc/shells ?

Das mit der UID ist übrigens nicht unbedingt eine saubere Lösung ...

userlist_file=/etc/chrootUsers
AFAIR erwartet vsftpd dann auch einen Eintrag für den User in dieser Datei (die aber vom counterscript immer wieder neu geschrieben wird). Irgendwo unter /root/confixx liegen aber die Templates für diese Dateien, einfach editieren und den benötigten Eintrag hinzufügen.
