Hallo Ihr,

mein Apache2 ging gestern gegen 4:15 in die Knie. Leider kann ich nicht sagen warum. Über FTP und SSH bin ich draufgekommen. Ein Restart brachte auch nichts. Nur ein Neustart des Server hat geholfen.

Was sagen die Fehlerausgaben und welche error_logs oder warns könnte ich noch prüfen?

Die Meldung ist eigentlich eindeutig. Lies die Apache Doku zu den Direktiven ServerLimit und MaxClients.

Da läuft vermutlich noch ein alter Apache Prozess, der an Port 443 gebunden wurde. Schieß ihn mit `kill` ab.

Kann der Apache in die Logdateien schreiben? Ist noch Speicherplatz auf der Partition vorhanden?
