Probleme nach Neustart

Hallo,

ich habe einen RootServer mit SuSe 9.1
Seit ein paar Tagen hatte ich Probleme mit Postfix. Mails wurde einfach nicht, falsch oder verspätet zugestellt.
Seit gestern läuft auch Webmin (unter SSL) sehr, sehr langsam. Daneben kann ich auch seit gestern keine Prozesse mehr starten über die Console. D.h. wenn ich z.B. "yast2" eingebe, bleibt putty einfach stehen.
Jetzt habe ich mit einem Neustart probiert, mit dem Ergebnis, dass nur die "lebenswichtigen" Dienste gestartet wurden und Sachen wie Postfix oder der Indianer nicht anspringen. Wegen dem oben genannten Problem kann ich diese auch nicht später starten.
Jetzt ist guter Rat teuer, vielleicht kann mir ja einer von Euch helfen.

Irgendwie sieht das für so aus, als sollte da noch was kommen, warum macht der sonst am Ende noch ein <notice> auf? Es kommt aber leider nichts mehr.

Zusätzlich ist mir auch aufgefallen, dass sich sehr viele Zombies auf dem Server rumtreiben, z.B. [hostname <defunct>], [sh <defunct>], [grep <defunct>]. Von jedem zwischen 5 und 30 Stück.

Vielleicht ist es noch wichtig zu erwähnen, dass die Start-Scripts, die nach dem Reboot eigentlich ausgeführt werden sollten, in der Luft hängen. So steht z.B. folgendes in der Prozessliste:
/bin/sh /etc/init.d/rc3.d/S09kbd start

Ich würde mal in ein Rescue-System booten und die Dateisysteme checken.
Ein Hardware-Check (wenigstens memtest86+) wäre auch eine Idee.

Der Filesystem-Check brachte keine neuen Erkenntnisse --> alles ok.

Im Rescuesystem von 1&1 steht leider kein memtest86+ zur Verfügung sondern nur das schlichte "memtest". Das habe ich durchlaufen lassen --> auch keine Fehler.

Ich bin echt ratlos. Noch andere Ideen?

Wenn ich im "normalen" Modus boote, bleibt er jetzt manchmal sogar schon nach der Passworteingabe in der Shell hängen. Das kann doch fast nicht an einer fehlerhaften Konfiguration liegen, oder? Zumal ja auch in den Logfiles nichts auffälliges zu finden ist.

Vielleicht könnt ihr ja damit noch was anfangen.
