Hi,
ich habe einen 1und1 Rooterserver (3XXL) und den dazugehörigen Backupspace 250Giga. Nun möchte ich wenns geht per rsync den Server oder Teile davon auf den Backup Space synchronisieren. Geht das überhaupt so ? Ich komme mit RSync nicht so richtig klar, es gelingt mir zwar, Verzeichnisse auf eine andere Partition zu synchronisieren, nicht aber auf den 1und1 Backup Space. Kann mir da jemand nen Tip geben wie das genau geht ?

Der 1&1 Backup Space ist nur per FTP erreichbar...

da geht es nur um ein kleines Backup nicht aber um das eines kompletten Servers! Wie kann man das machen? Ich möchte ein php update durchführen und daher auf Nummer sicher gehen.
