Cron Problem mit Webalizer.

Hallo.

Ich habe folgendes Problem:

Mein cron.daily wird ausgeführt. Alle Script laufen einwandfrei durch bis zum Updatescript von Webalizer, welches nicht mehr ausgeführt wird.
Wenn ich es aber manuell ausführe geht es in sekundenschnelle und fehlerfrei.

Ich habe nicht wirklich eine Ahnung woran das liegen könnte bzw. wie man dem Fehler auf den Grund gehen könnte.

Wo logt webalizer / der crond hin? Danke im Vorraus.

/var/log/messages?
wie sieht es aus mit dem script davor? läuft das einwandfrei durch?

in /var/log/messages steht nichts ausser massenweise "Jun 5 18:34:11 h122280 -- MARK --" alle 20 minuten.

und ja, das script davor läuft. (ich habe vor und nach dem webalizer script je ein dummyscript, das davor geht, das danach halt nicht mehr).

Poste doch mal die relevanten Einträge Deiner Crontab - vielleicht verhagelt's da was, so dass crond bei der Verarbeitung aussteigt...

Oder /var/log/syslog noch dazu. Unter Debian (und unter diversen anderen Distris auch) sollte Cron dort loggen.

Bis auf die webalizer scripts alles standard Zeug. (.aaatest ist das dummy script welches erfolgreich durchläuft).


Im syslog (diese war es, danke duergner & Joe User) steht nichts ausser dem start "Jun 7 06:25:01 h122280 /USR/SBIN/CRON[10255]: (root) CMD (test -x /usr/sbin/anacron || run-parts --report /etc/cron.daily)".

Ersetz mal die Punkte durch ein anderes Zeichen. Also webalizer-aaatest zum Beispiel.

Ich erinnere mich nämlich das es Probleme gibt wenn die Dateien Punkte als Trennzeichen enthalten.

Hey hat funktioniert. Bin bissel überrascht, da ich die Script bereits seit langem mit den Punkten im Namen da drin hab. :)
