Hallo zusammen,
ich überlege gerade meinen alten root Server (2GHz 256MB Ram) umzutauschen.
Die Hoster (1und1,Strato,...) bieten jetzt die 64 Bit Systeme an.
Welchen Vorteil bringen die denn ? Wie wikt sich das auf Apache, MySQL, IM, GD usw. aus.
Besten Dank für Hinweise

Wenn ich mir die Beiträge so anschaue, wäre es dann ncit sinnvoll auf einen 64 Bit Root eine 32 Bit Distribution draufzumachen ?
