will nachher meinen L64 mit Debian bespielen und weiss noch nicht, ob ich amd64 oder i386 als arch nehmen soll.
Wie sehen Vorteile und Nachteile von amd64 aus? (Geschw., Kompatibilität)

AMD64 lohnt sich im Serverbereich derzeit nur für entsprechend kompilierte DBMS, zum Beispiel MySQL (was bei Debian aber nicht der Fall ist http://www.rootforum.org/forum/viewtopi ... 232#240232)...
