"Aussetzer" während dem Betrieb

Ich habe das Problem, dass mein Rechner während dem Betrieb immer wieder "Aussetzer" hat.

Das aüssert sich so, dass z.B. während dem Surfen alles einfriert, und ca. 5 bis 25 Sekunden lang überhaupt nichts möglich ist.
Dann wird wieder alles normal und 10 bis 15 Minuten ist alles OK, dann fängt es wieder an.

Dies passiert in init 3 sowie init 5

System:
Dell PE 1425SC
Dual Xeon 2.8, 1.5 GB RAM
2x 75GB SATA HDD auf RAID1

Ich habe Fedora Core 2, der Kernel ist älter.

Hat jemand eine Idee?

Festplatte? RAM? Was sprechen die logs?

Ich habe eben nichts relevantes in den logs finden können.
Deshalb rätsele ich ja.
RAM und Festplatten habe ich ja angegeben. Ich habe nur registered RAM.

Mit festplatte meinte ich ob evtl die Festplatte Fehler hat? Oder vielleicht der Controller.

möglich ist alles.
aber der Server ist neu, so dass ich das eher ausschliessen würde.

Blos weil du den Server neu hast, bedeutet das nicht das auch die bauteile neu sind. Schau mal mit smartctl nach ;)
Mein "neuer" Server hatte ne Platte mit 6000 Betriebsstunden drin!

ich wurde mittlerweile auch von einem anderen User kontaktiert, der das gleiche Problem hat.
