Kein Netzwerk mehr nach Neustart.Schnelle Hilfe wäre nett.

habe heute nach 90 tagen den server mal wieder neu gestartet.laut log starten alle dienste,nur meine netzwerkkarte will nicht.wenn ich das richtig lese,wird die netzwerkkarte ordentlich initialisiert.aber irgendwie fehlt mein localhost mit 127.0.0.1.Ich hänge mal das komplette Bootlog an.vielleicht fällt jemandem dabei was ein.zumindest ist der server nicht erreichbar und soll nicht gut sein bei etlichen kundendomains :) also bin für jede hilfe dankbar.

stehe echt auf der leitung und nach 9 stunden recovery/normal-boot ....fehlt mir langsam auch der mut :)

Schön das du gar soviel von deinem System erzählst.

Also dein W2K3Server hat ein Problem mit dem rtl8139 Treiber von einem Drittanbieter. Du solltest dir das Orginal von Realtek runterladen :)

SuSE 9.1 hatte bei bestimmten SuSE-kernel Probleme mit Intel Etherexpress Pro 100 und anderen Netzkarten. Trat auch kurz bei 9.2 auf. Die Netzkarten wurden beim Booten nicht richtig initialisiert. Trat in Verbindung mit dem 2.6.xx Kernel auf.

Auch gab es mal Probleme mit dem ViaRhine Treiber. Dies sollte aber schon lange her sein und behoben.

Wenn du keine ipv6 brauchst, dann schalt es ab. Nimm es auch aus der /etc/hosts.

Haste irgendwann vor dem Neustart ein Kernelupdate gemacht? Also irgendwann in den letzten 90 Tagen?

Wenn du weder W2K3Server noch SuSE 9.1/9.2 hast, biste selber schuld, wenn du keine brauchbaren Antworten bekommst.
