Hallo zusammen,
ich hab hier 2 Sun-Cobalt-Kisten (basieren auf redhat) in einem vollgestopften Servertower.
Seit gestern macht eine der beiden Kisten komische Festplattengeräusche - welche von beiden es ist kann ich überhaupt nicht lokalisieren, ich habe aber schonmal angefangen 2 Ersatzfestplatten zu bestellen und mittlerweile alle 4 stunden ein backup zu machen.
Nun wär ich aber Neugierig ob jemand ein paar konsolentricks auf Lager hat wie man die Platte testen kann.. das geräusch klingt wie.. "unkoordinierte schnelle bewegungen" des schreib-lese-armes.. :?

Klingt schon fast nach alten IBM-IDE-Platten...
