Hi,
wie kann ich SuSE in ein Verzeichnis installieren.
Bei debian kann ich dies easy mit debootstrap.
Wie kann ich das mit SuSE machen?

Zumindest alle zur Installation notwendigen RPMs. Alternativ kannst Du auch RPM 4.1.1 auf dem Hostsystem installieren und zum extrahieren nutzen...

Wieso benutzt du nicht die dafür vorgesehene Funktion in YaST dazu? Dort gibt es eine Funktion "Installation in ein Verzeichnis". Wenn du vorher die Quelle wechselt, kannst du sogar eine andere Version einspielen. z. B. Hauptsystem SuSE 9.2 und in ein Verzeichnis eine 9.0 rein installieren. Auch beim Booten von der SuSE-CD sollte diese Option angeboten werden.

Die Option "Installation in ein Verzeichnis" steht nur unter SuSE 9.1 und SUSE 9.2 zur Verfügung, bei SuSE 9.0 fehlt sie...
