Das Problem was ich habe ist das trotz eingeschalteter Option die Variablen die z.B. via POST übertragen wurden nicht als Normale ich meine $foo abrufbar ist. Ein einfacher Test funtkioniert. Irgendwie scheint etwas im Code zu sein was das blockiert und diese Variablen nicht global "macht". Der Code ist auch zu komplex um das jetzt in angemessener Zeit zu analysieren. Auch ein Vergleich der phpinfo ausgaben ergibt keine brauchbare info für mich.
