Probleme bei Installation von phpMyAdmin

Hallo

ich versuche gerade

phpMyAdmin ver 2.5.1.1 auf Suse 9.1 zu installieren. Doch leider habe ich keinen Erfolg.

Es geht nur wenn ich die authentifizierung auf http stelle, aber dann kann ich mich nur als root anmelden nicht als z.B. webx

Sollte das an der config.inc.php liegen wäre es schön wenn jemand nen Blick darauf werfen könnte. Vielen Dank schon mal.

Gibt es denn deinen MySQL Benutzer mit dem Namen webX? Die heißen doch bei Confixx webXsqlY, oder?

erst mal danke für deine schnelle Antwort.

die db heißt usr_webx_1 der user ganz normal webx

ja den gibt es. Habe ich schon alles überprüft. Benutzer gibt es habe im Confix schon ein anderes Passwort eingetragen da ich dachte er hat vielleicht mit SOnderzeichen ein Problem, aber leider auch ohne erfolg. Ich werde jetzt mal als root den User über phpMyAdmin neu anlegen, und kucken was passiert.

Welche Version von phpMyAdmin sollte man derzeit eigentlich verwenden? Gibt es da ne empfehlung von euch? der Server ist von ner 1&1 Tochter falls das für die Entsheidung wichtig ist.

Der Benutzer muss nicht in Confixx sondern in der User Tabelle von MySQL vorhanden sein. Und Confixx legt da doch eigentlich immer einen pro Datenbank an, oder?

Hallo

der Meinung war ich auch, der erste User wurde vom Hoster eingerichtet. Da hatte ich keinen Einfluss.

Laut Confixx beschreibung sollte das auch so sein. Ich mach es jetzt mit der Hand und werde morgen posten ob ich Erfolg hatte oder nicht.

Dauert bei mir alles noch ein wenig mehr Zeit, da ich ja kein Profi bin.
