sicher wieder ganz blödes Ding: mein problem ist dass der server den ordner, bzw die index darin nicht liest wenn kein / hinten an steht.
Mit Slash ist alles Biene aber ohne meint er die Datei nicht finden zu können.

hab jetzt mal die httpd.conf durchgegraben aber leider mangelt es mir an know-how :-(
any suggestions?

danke für die schnelle antwort,
leider wars das noch nicht, den autoindex zu setzen hab ich als erstes geprüft.. es werden index.html und index.php als mögliche autoindexe verwendet.. sieht man ja auch daran, dass beim aufruf mit / die entsprechende index geladen wird. nur ohne / eben nicht..

hab ihn.. also es lag definitiv am nicht richtig eingestellten serverName ..
