habe bei debian mysql neu aufgesetzt (via apt-get)
und habe nun folgendes problem.
wenn ich z. b. mit mysqladmin das root pw setzten will bringt er folgendes:
/usr/bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
error: 'Access denied for user: 'root@localhost' (Using password: NO)'
in der logfile steht folgendes:
40217 13:53:45 Error at /etc/init.d/mysqln./usr/bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)'
Check that mysqld is running and that the socket: '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' exists!
040217 13:54:22 Error at /etc/init.d/mysqln./usr/bin/mysqladmin: connect to server at 'localhost' failed
error: 'Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)'
Check that mysqld is running and that the socket: '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' exists!
040217 13:54:22 mysqld started
die mysqld.sock ist in diesem verzeichnis und ist als besitzer von mysql eingetragen.
hat jemand eine idee?
