Hallo,
ich kann meinen Root Server bei Strato (SUSE 8.1) leider nicht via Yast, also mit YOU updaten. Ich kann zwar die aktualisierten Pakete auswählen, aber wenn ich diese installieren will erhalte ich die Meldung "Keine aktualisierten Pakete verfügbar." Irgendwie scheint er sich keine Patches zu saugen, sehr seltsam. Hat jemand eine Idee?
Google und die FAQ von SUSE haben leider nichts ergeben. Danke!

Ich habe gerade noch "ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse" in der Datei /etc/suseservers angegeben und das Update gestartet, leider ohne Erfolg.

Ich habe den Server mal in der suseservers eingetragen und später auch per Hand im Yast, das Ergebnis ist gleich:
Fehler
Initialisierung fehlgeschlagen - bitte versuchen Sie es erneut.
Falls weitere Versuche fehlschlagen, wählen Sie bitte einen anderen SuSE FTP/HTTP Server.
Ich kapier das nicht. Mein iptables Skript ermöglicht ausgehenden FTP traffic.

So, default Policy hatte ich gerade auf ACCEPT gestellt (INPUT/OUTPUT chains), gleiches Problem.
