Hallo,
habe seit einigen Tagen ein Problem mit meinem Root-Server bei 1&1. Undzwar steht im Kundenmenü in der Datentransfer-Anzeige manchmal z.B. 5GB, aber Confixx zeigt (eingeloggt als Administrator) nur 3GB an.
Ich verwende den Server NUR für Webhosting.
Was kann ich tun, um herauszufinden, wie diese unnötigen 1-2GB am Tag herkommen?
Ich bedanke mich schon im Voraus für euere Mühe.

Mit einem Tool wie IAM. Bemüh mal die Boardsuche.

Die Differenzen ergeben sich aus den unterschiedlichen Berechnungsgrundlagen beider Systeme. Vertrauenswürdig ist lediglich die Angabe im 1&1-Kundenmenü...

Ich würde den beiden Systemen nicht trauen und ein Script (iptables etc.) schreiben das mir den 100% KORREKTEN traffic anzeigt. ;)
Fertige scripts gibt es da auch schon > google.de

Dir ist bekannt, dass 1&1 den Traffik am Switch vor den Rooties misst und abrechnet?
