POP3 Server startet und beendet sich selber!

Hallo!

Habe mal eine Frage... Mein POP3 Server startet und beendet sich immer von selbst - woran liegt das?? Folgende Fehlermeldung steht in der

/var/log/warn

Bitte helft mir... Ist wirklich dringend!! Kann seit mehr als 1 Woche keine Mails mehr empfangen....

dein POP3 daemon startet automatisch, da er anscheinend über xinetd gesteuert wird, d.h. das ist normal.

Deactivating service pop3 due to excessive incoming connections. Restarting in 10 seconds. <- Deutet darauf hin, dass gerade ein Arsch voll Request anliegen und xinetd den POP3 daemon deswegen temporär abklemmt. Da musst du mal in der Konfiguration des xinetd reinschauen, ob du da vielleicht zu restriktive Limits reingeknallt hast. Meistens unter /etc/xinetd.d/pop3 zu finden.
Dann hat dein Postfix eine Konfigurationsproblem. Wenn vorher alles ging und plötzlich nicht mehr gibt es im Prinzip 3 Möglichkeiten für den Grund.

1. Du hast als root Sachen gemacht, von dessen Konsequenzen du keine Ahnung hast
2. Deine Kiste wurde gehackt und jemand hat Mist gebaut
3. Deine Festplatte macht Probleme.
