Tja, installiert habe ich sendmail (SMTP funkrioniert) und dazu qpopper auf nem Suse 8.1
Jedoch kann ich keine Mails abrufen.
Nun meldet mit popper im Log folgenden Fehler:
Jan 14 16:18:22 linux popper[1089]: Unable to obtain socket and address of client: Socket operation on non-socket (88) [pop_init.c:1050]
Hmm, was nun tun ?

Laut kurzem Blick in Google :
"Another trick is to got into the inetd.conf and comment out the line that
starts Qpopper.
Then do 'killall -HUP inetd
After this get back to the inetd.conf and reactivate the line that starts
Qpopper. Then
redo 'killall -HUP inetd"
