Das hört sich spannend an. Die erhobenen Daten ließen sich dann evtl. zur Generierung einer kleinen DNSBL nutzen, denn die Chance, dass ein infizierter Rechner, der SSH-Attacken fährt, auch irgendwann Spam versendet, ist IMHO recht hoch. ;)
