also wenn ich /etc/init.d/quota start eingebe kommt:
Checking quotas...
done.
Turning on quotas.
quotaon using /home/.......
quotaon: Quota format not supportes in kernel.
wieso jetzt das? quota sollte der 2.4.27-2-386 können oder?
in der config ist CONFIG_QUOTA=y ....
kann mir das wer erklären?

Dein Kernel unterstützt lediglich das alte Quotaformat, während Deine Quotatools das neue Quotaformat verwenden.
