Confixx-Counterscript will nicht

Hallo.

Habe ein Problem mit meinem Rootserver L4 von 1&1 (SuSE 9.1 und Confixx 3.0.9).

Eingerichtete E-Mail-Adressen werden nicht aktiviert, das counterscript (/root/confixx/confixx_counterscript.pl -fa -dbg) bleibt unmotiviert hängen. Folgendes wird angezeigt:

Die genannte Version 3.0.7 war nie installiert, ich halte dies für einen banalen Fehler von Confixx.

Hat jemand eine Idee, das Problem zu lösen? Eine Neu-Initialisierung des Servers möchte ich auf jeden Fall vermeiden. Die Web-Inhalte funktionieren übrigens komplett, Postfix läuft auch. Confixx übernimmt eben nur die Mail-Konfiguration nicht in /etc/aliases.

Scheinbar bekommt es Confixx nicht hin, die aliases.db zu bauen. Klingt nicht gut.

Ausführung von /usr/bin/newaliases führt zum Einfrieren des Vorgangs. Oder dauert die Ausführung länger als 10 Minuten?

Ich habe jetzt noch mehreres ausprobiert - beispielsweise ein Updaten von Postfix über YOU und manuell (rpm -U und auch über --force). Jedesmal bleibt das Installationsskript bei "Rebuilding /etc/aliases.db." stehen. Was könnte denn die Ursache dafür sein?

Mir fällt momentan, abgesehen von der Holzhammer-Methode unten, leider nichts mehr ein, sorry.

Postfix vollständig entfernen und neu installieren:

Anschliessend Postfix gemäss Confixx-Manual rekonfigurieren.

Bevor ich den Server neu aufsetze, gehe ich dann doch lieber mal mit dem Holzhammer ran. Schlimmer kann es ja nicht mehr werden...

Vorab aber noch eine Frage: Ich finde in den Manuals zu Confixx (Installationshandbuch, Administratorhandbuch) keine speziellen Hinweise zur Einrichtung von Postfix. Confixx müsste doch auch eigentlich die entsprechenden Konfigurationsoptionen beibehalten? Ansonsten reicht es eventuell aus, /etc/postfix/* zu sichern und nach Neuinstallation von Postfix zurückzuspielen?

Theoretisch sollte Confixx die Postfix-Konfiguration selbstständig anpassen können, allerdings habe ich Confixx seit ~2 Jahren nicht mehr gesehen.

Okay. Ich habe Postfix nun deinstalliert und neu installiert. Aus mir unerfindlichen Gründen läuft der mysql-Dämon nicht mehr. Selbst ein Server-Restart brachte keine Besserung.
