Hallo zusammen,
habe folgendes Problem: Habe auf meinem Suse 9.1 Server die neue GD2.0.33 Version installiert mit folgenden rpm: http://rpmseek.com/rpm/gd-2.0.33-0.gbv. ... 3004:0:0:0
Laut Herstellerangabe soll diese Version wieder den gif Support bieten. Leider funktioniert dieser aber bei mit nicht. Typo3 kann diese nicht finden bzw. nutzen.
Hat jemand eine Idee woran es liegen kann?

Sorry verstehe dein Posting nicht ganz.
php4-gd ist doch nur das Plugin damit GD genutzt werden kann oder ?

Richtig, es muss dazu aber gegen die entsprechende GD-Version gelinkt sein (durch Rekompilieren)...

Dachte die neue GD Version würde die alte kpl. ersetzen und dadurch nicht neue komeliert werden müssen.
Heißt das ich muß erst gd installieren und dann php neu compilieren ?
