was benötigt mann um ein Internet-Radio zu betreiben?
Ich habe einen root server von strato.
Ich will auf dem server Live Streams bieten ... was muss ich machen damit des reibungslos geht?

Am besten installierst du dir einen http://www.shoutcast.com/
Streamen tust du dann mit winamp
ist eigentlich gaaanz easy!

PS: was du brauchst ist natürlich Musik und nen Headset ;-)

Das kannst Du, aus sicht des Trafficvoluments knicken. Geh davon aus, dass wenn ein User dem Stream lauscht das ca. 80MB/h sind, zumindest habe ich die Werte bei mir gemessen. Wenn Du also alleine 10 User hast die über den Monat 4 Stunden täglich hören, sind das (80MB/h*4*30)*10 = 96GB. wenn er selber musik produziert ;-) z.B. als Dj *g* dann brüchste das nicht... aber glaube kaum dass du so viel Musik hast und Zeit hast...

es geht nicht um Musik es sind Vorträge die abgespielt werden .... keine lizenz probleme.
Ich stelle mir es so vor das wenn jemand auf einen button drückt der mediplayer von Windows an geht und dann den strem starttet.
shoutcast.com ist intressant werde es mir anschauen hat jemand sonnst für tipps?

Es gibt noch IceCast - funktioniert fast so wie Shoutcast, ist aber unter der GPL veröffentlicht.
