Install Imapserver Courier-SSL failed ( debianhowto qmail)

Habe alles installiert laut http://www.debianhowto.de/howtos/de/qma ... l_MTA.html

Bei der installation der Imapserver Courier-SSL
dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc -rfakeroot
gab es 9 errors
( Newbies ich weiß wie ich die log retten kann !)



wie komm ich am bestens / schnelstens weiter?
- Ohne Imapserver Courier-SSL und ohne vpopmail?
- Doch die 9 errors rauskriegen

Stand der Sache : Postfach kann ich lesen, aber emails kommen nicht an.

Ich würde vorschlagen, dass du die Errors rausbekommst, liegt meistens daran, dass bestimmte devel Pakete fehlen.

Poste mal die errors.

Die error von dpkg-buildpackage kann ich nicht mit klassischen Methoden speichern,
weder mit dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc -rfakeroot > error.log
noch mit dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc -rfakeroot | > error.log

Probier's mal mit tee (Nein, kein schlechter Scherz ;) ).

Oder wenn keine Eingabe zu machen sind:

dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc -rfakeroot 1> error.log 2>&1

Tee ist echt kein Witz und teilt sozusagen den Outpu, d.h. du kannst den Output sehen und gleichzeitig in eine Datei umleiten :)

Würde in etwa so aussehen:

dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc -rfakeroot 2>&1 | tee log.txt

Dass 2>&1 setzt den error output auf den standard output.

Da solltest du mal schauen, ob du in deinem debian/rules nicht ein paar Fehler gemacht hast, hier mal der entscheidnede Ausschnitt aus meiner:

P.S.: Am besten den courier Ordner noch einmal löschen und dann noch einmal von vorne anfangen und beim editieren der rules datei sehr vorsichtig vorgehen.

Ich konnte nie raus finden wo liegt es den Fehler.

Mit mein Konfig (gleich wie in Qmail und vpopmail auf Debian HOWTO)
+ dazu --sysconfdir=/etc/courier.
bekam ich nur 1 Fehler.

Du machst halt immer falsche Ã?nderungen und ausserdem solltest du die anderen direktiven auch drin lassen, es sei denn du weiss warum du sie nicht benutzen willst und dass scheint ja nicht der Fall zu sein :) .

Wenn du die Ã?nderungen genauso machst, wie im HowTo beschrieben, dann funktioniert es auch, wenn du andere Einstellungen benutzen willst, dann solltest du auch wissen, was du machst.

"Missing seperator" bedeutet, dass du wahrscheinlich am Ende der Zeile ein vergessen hast und der Fehler ist in Zeile 50.

Poste mal deine rules und sage dir dann wo die Fehler sind :)

OK - Danke erstmal ! es war kein "Missing seperator "" problem (10 mal geprüft) , eher wahrscheinlich ein unsichbares/korruptes Zeichen in der Datei (cut&paste problem?)

Ich habe inzwischen installiert:

Die rules von courier-0.37.3 habe ich nicht in Ordnung hingekriegt ohne error (ich komm nicht klar mit dem Howto - warum ist es nicht alles da?), ich nahm in der Not die gleichen wie vorher :oops: Kann mir einer sein rules für courier-0.37.3 geben?

Ob eine MAil ankommt oder nicht, hat erst einmal nichts mit Courier zu tun, dies wird von qmail+vpopmail bewerkstelligt.

Wenn deine Mail also nicht ankommt, so liegt ein Fehler in deiner qmail vpopmail Konfiguration vor.
