Hallo,
ich habe auf einem Strato vServer Joomla zu laufen. Nun möchte ich über die im Joomlahauptverzeichnis liegende php.ini Magic Quote auf "on" schalten. Oder besser gesagt, es ist schon standardmäßig aktiviert. Allerdings zeigt mir Joomla weiterhin an, dass es Off ist. In der php.ini des Servers an sich ist es auch auf off, aber er müsste doch die php.ini in dem Verzeichnis berücksichtigen. Dann habe ich es mit einer htaccess datei probiert, allerdings wird weiterhin im Joomla off statt on angezeigt. Also wird diese ebenfalls ignoriert.
Was kann man nun tun ohne es in der globalen php.ini zu aktivieren?

Wie wird denn PHP aufgerufen ? Per mod_php / FastCGI oder direkt als CGI ?

PHP läuft mit FastCgi.
