Da ich seit über zehn Jahren ausschliesslich ATI-GPUs nutze, kann ich nur etwas gegen NVIDIA sticheln:
Warum sollten die NVIDIA-Treiber für Linux stabiler sein, als deren Windows-Treiber? Schliesslich verursachen die NVIDIA-Treiber auch unter Windows mit Abstand die meisten Probleme und Abstürze. Daher würde es mich nicht wundern, wenn der NVIDIA-Treiber auch für Deine Probleme verantwortlich ist...
