Probleme mit .htaccess

Also bei meinem Apache Webserver gehen einfach einige wichtige dinge nicht. Der Apache is vorkunfiguriert gewesen vom Anbieter. Zum einen gehen keine .htaccess Dateien. Ich hab mir das mal in der httpd.conf angeschaut und sieht auch korrekt aus. Kann mich natürlich irren. Jedenfalls erkennt er irgendwie die .htaccess Dateien nicht.

Vielleicht hat ja jemand eine Lösung.

muss ich da AllowOverride All noch dazu einfügen?

Hi,
hast du die Manpage überhaupt gelesen und verstanden?

Du musst für das Verzeichnis, in dem die .htaccess liegt eine Directory Direktive einrichten und dort AllowOverride AuthConfig reinschreiben.

Wenn der passwortgeschützte Ordner bspw. /home/www.yourdomain.com/public_html/private/ ist, muss folglich in der httpd.conf
