Proftpd verliert verbindung??

Hallo,
ich hab folgendes Problem mit ProFTPD 1.2.10 und zwar schlagen immer wieder verbindungsversuche fehl. Beispiel wenn ich das erstemal connecten möchte sagt er "[R] Verbindung fehlgeschlagen (Verbindung verloren)" wenn ich dann reconnecte sage klappt der Login meist.
Woran kann das liegen das er mal die Verbindung herstellt und mal nicht?
Wenn ihr weiter Daten benötigt schreibts plz.
