Problem bei ftp log Auswertung mit awstats

Tach,
ich habe versucht mein FTP Log nach folgender Anleitugn auszuwerten
http://awstats.sourceforge.net/docs/aws ... q.html#FTP
es kommt auf der Konsole allerdings folgender Fehler

Hat jemand das schon mal gemacht? ich bekomme es leider nicht hin

Hi!
Poste mal dein Config-File, so ins blaue zu raten macht keinen Spass.
ich vermute mal, dass er schlicht und ergreifend die Datensätze aufgrund einer falschen Beschreibung nicht erkennt.

Also du kannst dir das Config file mal unter .. ansehen.
Ich wollte es hier nciht posten weil zu groß.
Wäre nett wenn du es dir mal anschaust, ich kann da leider keine Fehler finden.

Ich werde das ganze nachher mal begutachten und selbst mal testen.
Welchen FTP-Server benutzt du? Kannst du vielleicht auch mal ne Zeile aus dem Log posten?

der standard ftp Server der beim 1und1 rooti dabei ist, ich habe vsftp im kopf.

Hi!
awstats versteht, wie schon vermutet das Logfile nicht.
Der vsftp schreibt ein Log-File im wu-ftp logformat, dass versteht awstats nicht. Eine Lösung hab ich nich nicht, ich arbeite daran, das ist nämlich eine Gute Idee, das mit awstats auszuwerten.
Wennich was gefunden habe, melde ich mich.

ich habe genau das gleiche problem, habe allerdings auch versucht, die Lösung, wie in der oben angegegebenen FAQ herbeizuführen. Dummerweise wird auch nach den Ã?nderungen und dem Neustart von apache das gleiche Logformat ausgegeben wie vorher, damit habe ich also ein problem. warum übernimmt er nicht die einstellungen aus der proftp.conf nach einen restart von apache?

Hi!
Ich bin mir nicht sicher ob ich dich verstanden habe.
Die proftpd.conf hat nichts mit dem Apachen zu tun. Das Config-File des apachen ist httpd.conf, proftpd.con gehört zum ProFTP-Server.
Willst du FTP-Logfiles auswerten oder Web-Logs?

Ja, das hatten wir ja schon, du hattest ja auch den vsftp im Einsatz, ich hab auch noch keine Lösung, hab aber auch nicht viel Zeit gehabt.
Sag mal bescheid, wenn du was hast.

Welche Software hast du im Einsatz und welche Logfiles willst du auswerten?

also bisher dachte ich immer, ich nutze proftp, langsam bin ich mir nicht mehr so sicher, da die änderungen in proftp.conf ja nicht wirken...
wie kann ich das genau gerausbekommen?.
In der Anleitung war auch beschrieben, die xferlog zu löschen (mit den alten angaben im alten format) damit dann automatisch eine neue generiert wird. Neuerstellung erfolgt momentan auch nicht, obwohl es vor zwei Tagen klappte.
