ich hab im /tmp/ verzeichnis eines servers n paar hundert dateien die nach dem folgenden dateinamen schema aufgebaut sind

was sind das für dateien?
betriebssystem ist debian woody

ich würde glatt behaupten das sind temporäre dateien (/tmp) vom ftp (ftpfs8PH5Ca)

warschelinlich schen die gerade hochgeladen werden bzw wieder aufgenommen oder sowas in die richtung

ne, dafür sind sie zu alt

außerdem ist gerade niemand im ftp eingeloggt

bevor ich sie lösche wüsste ich schon gerne was es genau ist
was mich etwas verwundert ist das die dateinamen alle mit "ftpfs" anfangen -> ftp file system ?
n ftp-mount o.ä. hab ich auf der kiste aber nicht

mit lsof bzw lsck kannst Du zunächst feststellen, ob noch ein Prozess auf die Files zugreift (irgendwelche Zombies noch da?). Mit einem "Hex-Editor" (lol) kannst Du außerdem versuchen, Dir die Dateien in einer ASCII-Ã?bersetzung anzuschauen und hast danach vll. 'ne Idee, worum es sich dabei handeln könnte ...

ach scheisse. hab die kiste versehentlich rebootet, debian hat die angelegenheit dabei das tmp verzeichnis zu leeren. naja, muss wohl warten bis die dateien wieder da sind
