also wen es nicht von der 1&1 instaliert wurde ( was ich nicht glaube da ich es nicht finden kann ) ich habe es vorher nicht instaliert .

ich sehe aber gerade er meckert ja über die Zeile 46
@echo ""
und nicht Zeile 45
@echo "freebsd, osx, openbsd, netbsd, bsdi, aix, osf, irix, generic"

Hm, da ist eigentlich keine Fehler drin .. Du hast ja auch an diesen Stellen nix verändert. Lösche diese Zeile einfach mal, was dann passiert ...

habe das makefile noch mal neu entpackt und ausgeführt ( nach dem ich es wieder angepasst habe )
jetzt kommt das ... :(

es hat aber geklappt ( obwohl da ein paar mal warning drin stand ...)
er hat das verzeichniss ertellt ...

Gibt es auch die Möglichkeit , beim Verbinden mit dem FTP auch die IP zu sperren , sieh LogFile ???

hab nen prob mit dem Link. Er fuzzt nicht!!
Weiss vielleich jemand nen anderen wo ich das lipcap.rpm bekomme???

Also bei mir zu Hause hab ichs gerade erfolgreich mit wget getestet.
Wie lautet die genaue Fehlermeldung die Du bekommst?

Jetzt ca. 5 tage später funktioniert Portsentry nicht mehr.
Ich hab den Server in der Zeit paar Mal rebootet und war im Rescue.
Ich bekomme jetzt:

Ich kann auch von einer schlechten erfahrung mit portsentry
erzählen. Ich habe die mir auch Installiert. Erst lief sie echt wunderbar
nur das ergebniss war. Kein ssh und kein ftp mehr obwohl ich sie abgeschaltet habe.
Ich weiß nicht ob ihr das irgendwie hinbekommen habt (wäre nett für nen tipp woher das kommt) aber ich musste den rooti reinitialisieren lassen

hmm , bei mir geht es gut , das einzige was nicht noch nie hingehauen hat ist der start beim booten , muss immer per hand starten.
