clamav + amavis-new
Einleitung

Howto zum Einrichten amavis-new und clamd basierten Spamfilters und Virenscanner. Dieses Howto setzt eine [[../postfix]] Installation vorraus.

Installation

clamav

Wie üblich besorgen wir uns die Binaries über die Installationspakete der Distribution. Passen die clamd.conf wie folgt an. Dieses sollte schon per default stimmen.

Wir starten den Dämon z.B. per /etc/init.d/clamd start.

Damit die Virendefinitionen möglichst aktuell sind, tragen wir freshclam in die crontab ein.

Ein update am Tag sollte reichen. Da allerdings gut und gerne zu vollen Minuten z.B. 1:00 1:10 1:20 etc. Scripte ausgeführt werden habe ich z.B. 1:37 gewählt. Bitte nicht die gleiche Zeit wie oben übernehmen. Mit netstat -tulpen sollten wir einen Eintrag wie folgt finden:

Auch diese Binaries besorgen wir uns über den üblichen Weg unserer Distribution.

Danach instalieren wir notwendige Perl Module

BerkeleyDB ist ein verzichtbares Paket, sollten hierbei Probleme auftreten.

Der Ablauf der Mailprüfung ist wie folgt: Eine extern eingehende Mail, bzw. auch versendete Mail trifft per smtp auf port 25 ein. Diese wird von Postfix zur Contentprüfung über den Port 10024 an amavis-new übergeben. Die Nachricht wird nach der Prüfung über den port 10025 an Postfix zur weiteren Verarbeitung / Auslieferung zurück gegeben.

Obiges HELO localhost, kann zumindest mal zum prüfen der Dienste auf port 10024 und 10025 ausgeführt werden. Da es sich beides mal um einen smtp Dämon handelt, sollte darüber ebenfalls ein Mailversandt möglich sein. Als kleiner Tipp für die Fehlereingrenzung / Suche.
