we will soon release our long awaited new professional design. As this new design makes use of some HTML5 and CSS3 features, we urge you to update your browsers to the latest stable versions. The new design has been tested with the following browser versions, so these will therefor be the minimum requirements in terms of browser versions:
A note on Internet Explorer: Due to the lack of essential features version 8.0 is not fully supported. As soon as version 9.0 is released, which will be fully supported, support for version 8.0 will be dropped.
We recommend using Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome as your preferred browser.

today RootForum has it’s 8th birthday and as on our last birthdays we will give you also this year an outsight on our plans for the next year. So, later this year we’ll migrate our server to FreeBSD 8 and based on that experience we’ll provide you a full guide on installing FreeBSD 8 on a Hetzner EQ4 server. Not enough? OK, that guide will also include the setup of Apache, mod_php, MySQL, Postfix, Dovecot and maybe some of our maintaince-scripts.
Even more? Hmm, eventually at the end of this year we’ll start a new open-source project, but that hardly depends on your donations as that project needs some professional help, which is not cheap. Yes, open-source development is not for free as it’s very time consuming and time is money. So, if you want our planned project getting started as soon as possible, then help us by donating some euros, thanks!
